Zipper, Milton of Naples, Florida formerly of Oyster Bay, NY and Lattingtown, NY on July 22, 2019 at Age 102.  Beloved husband of the late Bernice.  Loving father of Carol Towne (Richard), Lorie Hedtrich (Arthur) and the late Devie (the late Paul Kelsey).  Proud grandfather of Sherilyn (Brian Nucci). Milton was a graduate of Columbia University. He established an International CPA accounting firm in Oyster Bay.  Member and past president of the CPA Society and Institute of Management Accountants, member and past District Governor of Rotary International.  Certificate of Appreciation from NY State Society of Certified Public Accountants Nassau Chapter 2003-2004, presented to Milton Zipper for outstanding service, leadership to the Chapter and to the profession during his term of office as President of Chapter.  Contributor to the Rhododendron Society in 1994 and he also contributed to the Azalea Society of America 1991 - 1994.  His biggest horticultural feat was covering his in ground pool to make it a green house. This turned into a tropical wonderland with banana trees, tangerines, lemons, papayas, colorful tropical flowers, and 2 dozen song birds. Newsday featured a story with pictures of the green house calling the article "the tropical zone".  Milton Zipper was a believer in community service, tolerance, and kindness toward people. An act of kindness in his memory would be greatly appreciated.  Service at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove, NY on Sunday,  August 25, 2019 at 11:00am.  Interment at Locust Valley Cemetery.
